Boris Berman is recognized as one of the leading piano teachers today. He has been featured in the book "The most wanted piano teachers in the USA." Since 1984, he is Professor of Piano at Yale University School of Music and Co-ordinator of Piano Department. In 2005, he was named a Honorary Professor of Shanghai Conservatory. In 2013, Boris Berman was named a Honorary Professor in Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen. In 2017, he was given a honorary title of "Specially-appointed Professor" by China Conservatory in Beijing. He frequently conducts master classes throughout the world or holds residencies, which include master classes, lectures, and a recital.
